Dang! Maxwell does look like he got seriously damaged by substance abuse. His lips darkened, I think his face completely changed compared to the days he came out... How sad! The music industry is scary though as well as fame, cause I remember watching his very first interviews when his music wasn't popular yet, he used to not drink and seemed like such a disciplined person, it is one of the reason why I liked and supported him. I hope he gets better.
Maxwell was my first thought. Been waiting on his new joint. Its suppose to be a double CD. At least release one of them.
It's definitely Maxwell... No question. Read the headline: UN-Fortunate, a play on the title of one of his biggest hits. For those who say they've never heard of him, the neo-soul movement of the mid- to late 90's pretty much began with him. Too bad, really... Hope the brotha can get it together.

Why do people believe everything they read? There have been recent pictures of Maxwell on the web and he looks good. Just because he does not have his hair anymore does not mean that he is on drugs. There are people in New York who have seen him out partying and say that he looks good.

I don't believe it! My friend said that he did hear something about Maxwell singing about another man. It had referenced a person with hair on his chest. I told my friend it could have been a really hairy girl that he was touching. Like the European model could have had manly chest hairs. He need to broaden his taste of women and try a big girl. Who cares about the ups & down of appearance,fame,and personal walks of life.Everybody chooses something to go thru or down and it is what is less of what it's not.Fact being is,if he can still make a good record irregardless,that's all that matters..You'd be surprise of the artist count that have huge and not so big hits come from the one's who experience both sides of sexuality?
